Vancouver Mural Festival, 2021

This mural focuses on the appreciation of rituals in food making. Growing, preparing, cooking, and sharing with those we care for. Time spent together to slow down and appreciate every step in the process.

Stylized vase shapes overflow with herbs we grow in our gardens. Which includes rosemary, sage, mint, basil, chives, and cilantro.

The vivid gradient of warm yellow, red and orange colours contrast the cool teal, blue and green which coordinate with qwta by Ronnie Dean Harris, adjacent to Homegrown.
